The Good. The Bad. & Goodbye 2009.

I can't believe 2009 will be over in a few hours; its been an interesting year...my year started off a bit on the sad side as I ended a six month relationship with Jake; the two of us just didn't see eye to eye in the end. He was more party, party, drink, drink...while I was more hang, hang, no, no. The break up was bittersweet, on one hand I was glad to end things with him; being with Jake made me realize that I needed to have fun with life. Enjoy my time, go out a bit more, and not to take things to serious. After the break with Jake I turned to Stephanie (Who I crushed six months earlier to be with Jake) she just gets me and we click but by this time she had a new boy in her life. I decided to return to one of my favorite things: writing. I began to work on a short novel and continued with my poems. The next few months went well and then a new boy entered my life by the name of David. He was attractive, he was friendly, he was David; me recently breaking up wasn't looking for anything serious. I was just looking for a person to talk to and hang out with; and that's what we did. David became a really great friend and the times we hung out were always fun; and work seemed to be going great. Job #1 (Law Firm Job) was getting more and more interesting; I began to learn more and take on more responsibilities. Working on different cases, learning about the clients, and learning from the attorny's was amazing. I also decided to be more social/out going, going to clubs and social events with friends was always fun; there is never a dull moment when it comes to friends.

Along the way my friendship with David seemed to feel more then just a friendship; but we both knew it wasn't a relationship it was just a friendship. When July came I finally found the time to take part in the NO H8 Campaing Shoot; as a bisexual male being part of the campaing means so much. I'm all for equal rights; and its unfair that we don't have the same rights as everyone else. The photo session was fun and the photographer Adam is very talented. As the summer continued it was time to take a vacation, that's when my cousin Rosemary and I decided to take a trip to Cancun. We spend a whole week out there, Cancun was so breath taking. The water was so blue and clear, the people were friendly, the clubs were fun, the Mayan Ruins were amazing, the entire vacation was worth wild. Cancun was amazing but I was excited to return back home that second week of August; it was back to both jobs. Being out in Cancun made me realized that I had lost touch with another love of mine: photography. I had been so occupied with both jobs and so busy with other things that I hadn't shoot in nearly a year and a half; so I decided to pick up my camera and shoot again. I shoot for about a week but then realized that I really didn't enjoy it as I did for those 4 years of my life; devoting my entire life to it. I decided to put away my camera and continue writing my short novel; during the next few weeks/months I decided to date. There was no special guy/girl in my life; and I was fine with that.

I continued to focus on my law firm job and my writing but then Chris came into the picture. Chris took the first step and wanting to get to know me; and I'm going to be honest I wasn't into him at all. He wasn't the type of guy I would date, so I didn't think much of him. Chris then began to tell me about himself, his family, his life, and his passion for music. And it made me see him in another way; so I slowly let him in. The more we talked, the more we hung out, the more I began to realize he was I good guy. I decided to fully let him in but we decided to take things slow; the holidays were just around the corner and I was excited to spend them with Chris. But Chris went behind his own word; I guess just believe he was different but I was wrong. Then I ended up finding out a few things he said; which made me feel like our entire relationship was a lie. Like always, my writing kept me focus... Thanksgiving and Christmas with the entire family was fun; those memories will stay with me forever. As I sit here and remember all of 2009; all the new friends I've made, the writing I've complished, the law firm job that I love and continue to learn more about, the relationships, the family, I guess 2009 wasn't that bad after all. But I'm so ready for 2010; I'm ready to head back to school, I'm already working on a second novel, I'm rebuilding my darkroom and ready to be shooting, and I'm just ready to see what else 2010 brings....

Chillin' on Glee

So I haven't jumped on the 'Glee' train like everyone else but I did notice this song by one of the actors on the show: Mark Salling who plays Puck. There's just something about the song, I guess the lyrics; you can really tell how much this guy enjoy's his job. I also enjoyed the video he made for the song (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFClq0L9kd0)

Music Monday

So just like everyone in this world and like every young adult: I LIVE IN MUSIC. There's so many styles of music and artist that are really amazing but I'm the type of guy that likes to go for the rare stuff, the unsigned or youtube artist :) I joined youtube back in 2006 and have watched lots of videos; I've spend most of my time seeing cover version of songs. Along the way I happen to stumble across four amazing young artist. They each have something different and they are very talented; Dan Talevski, Zae, Jolene, and Erika David. I love Dan's voice his original song "Rocket & Go" is one of my all time favorite songs (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfSfDL4Ke5w). Zae has that R&B flavor going on, this guy has talent for miles. Jolene is such a sweet heart, I loved her cover version of Melody Thornton's "Space" (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oxC8DnJ3OQ). Finally Ms. Erika her voice is so smooth and her looks are amazing; I love logging into my youtube account and seeing that these rising artist have new videos. I've included their youtube links, check out their videos, subscribe and favorite them ;)

The Beautiful Life: TBL "Is Back!"

'What we feel like we're doing is creating, in some ways, an industry first,' Ashton Kutcher said. 'A show that couldn't find its legs on television, we believe can find its legs on the Web.'

Thanks to HP and YouTube, " The Beautifu Life: TBL" gets a second chance at life. The axed drama show will air the two episodes that The CW scheduled to air but did not eventually, plus the three episodes that went into production but never ran Unlike the initial plan to air the unseen episodes on The CW this Summer, it will now be revived on the popular video-sharing website starting Monday, December 21 According to Reuters, the first two episodes that managed to air on the network would be re-aired on YouTube starting this Thursday without commercial breaks. "When 'The Beautiful Life' concluded on broadcast television, we were deluged by fans imploring us to bring back 'TBL'," producer Ashton Kutcher said. "Working with innovative companies like HP and YouTube, we are thrilled to be ending this year by releasing the remaining episodes of 'The Beautiful Life' and taking part in a unique marketing program that could only occur online." While naturally YouTube presents webisodes about 5 to 15 minutes long, Kutcher is confident tha the 40-minute episodes will live up to its expectation. "I would bargain that people will be willing to sit a lot longer if the picture looks a lot better," Kutcher told Reuters Kutcher is also looking far in the future of the show, saying that if the show could gather enough audience, then he would be able to attract sponsors to finance more episodes solely for web.

I am so excited that the show is returning; I'm not much of a tv guy but when I saw this fall's line up besides Melrose Place 'TBL' also caught my eye. I really did enjoy the pilot episode; I felt like this show was Mischa Barton's comeback but before I knew it The CW decided to cancel the show after only two episodes because of its low rating. So we never really got to see the characters storylines play out... that's until now, thanks to YouTube & HP ;] Watch episodes here: http://www.youtube.com/TBL
